The Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival is an annual high-octane celebration held at the Pembrey Circuit, transforming the "Home of Welsh Motorsport" into a spectacular showcase for the whole family. Taking place on Sunday, 13 September, the festival has quickly established itself as a premier event, attracting thousands of fans with its unique "access-all-areas" atmosphere.
Welsh motorsport heritage is celebrated with the festival's star attraction; previously, this has been Ayrton Senna’s cars, the Bugatti Chiron and the Mercedes AMG One. There are live demonstrations from historic Formula 1 cars, touring cars, drift cars, motorbikes, and stunt shows, to name just a few. Visitors can hear the roar of 1990s F1 engines as cars from iconic teams like Jordan, Benetton, and Minardi take to the track.
The track action is relentless, featuring a diverse lineup that includes thunderous Super Touring Cars, classic and modern rally cars (including Group B legends), high-speed MotoGP and Moto2 bikes, and thrilling drift team displays.
Off the track, the venue is packed with displays. The supercar paddock features a breathtaking collection of rare and exotic machinery from brands like Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, and Lamborghini. Classic car clubs, rally teams, and tractor pulling add to the spectacle. Unlike traditional race meetings, the festival's pit garages are open, allowing fans to get up close to the incredible racing machines and their engineering.
The festival is designed as a full family day out, complete with a large food village, trade stands, live music, a funfair, and other entertainment.
We are thrilled to confirm that the Club will be displaying at this year’s festival with a dedicated display area, offering spaces for members to join us. Full booking details will be published as soon as they are made available to us by the event organisers. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Geraint Owen, West Wales Area Organiser, by emailing g.owen@lotusdriversclub.org.uk.
