Join us at the worldwide headquarters of popular UK seat manufacturer, Tillett Racing Seats, in Kent on Sunday, 23 August 2026.
In 1986, founder Steve Tillett designed his first seat in his father’s garage, pioneering the idea behind seat design, which would go on to shape the entire karting world. Fast forward to the present day, Tillett is the leading supplier of car and kart racing products, utilising decades of development, knowledge and modern technology - producing models dedicated to performance and comfort, for all classes of applications around the world.
Their seats have been used by the very best drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Michael Schumacher, Lando Norris, Kimi Raikkonen and Jenson Button. But it’s not just race seats - they also have a range for “every day” driving and have an almost endless supply of seating insert options.
A popular upgrade for many Lotus and Caterham owners, Tillett will give members a tour of their showroom, have products to try and expert staff on hand to answer questions. A local catering van will supply refreshments. We have also negotiated a special discount for any orders placed over the weekend.
This will be a unique opportunity to visit the UK's manufacturing base and speak with the people who design and manufacture them. We expect this event to be very popular - register for free to secure your place! For more information, please contact s.wohlman@lotusdriversclub.org.uk.
