We’re excited to announce that the Lotus Drivers Club will be returning to Saundersfoot in 2024 for another first-class Driving Adventure along the Pembrokeshire Coast over the early May bank holiday weekend. Established in 2016 by David and Sian Boneham, this annual Driving Adventure has become one of the Club’s most popular and successful annual driving events, regularly attracting between 20 and 30 Lotus.
The weekend will cover parts of Pembrokeshire from the seaside town of Tenby in the South, along the coast to Sprinkle Haven, St David’s, Fishguard and The Preseli Hills and Mountains in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. We aim to supply a mix of breathtaking driving roads and scenic viewpoints. Route maps and suggested routes are supplied to all attendees along with recommendations for evening dining with one of the many supporting establishments based in the village of Saundersfoot.
Limited accommodation has been reserved in Saundersfoot, available exclusively to members. There is a variety of alternative accommodations available which can be found by visiting www.visitsaundersfootbay.com. Secure overnight parking will also be available in Saundersfoot over the weekend for those attending the event, at a small additional cost.
We are pleased to celebrate the continued support of the Hean Castle Estate, which will once again host the Club and members each morning as they embark on their journey for the day from the Coppet Hall Beach Centre.
For those who have never had the pleasure of one of the Club's popular Driving Adventures, we can assure you that you will not be disappointed. Good roads, food and most of all good company are all assured. Route books will be provided in written form along with Google map links (provided in advance) to enable participants to enjoy each day at their own pace. Due to the popularity of the Club's driving events, we encourage small group sizes of 5 or 6 cars, typically led by or including a member with knowledge of the route to help make the day a bit more relaxing.
To confirm your place and to help us administer numbers, please complete the registration information for the event. The event registration is for those wishing to join the weekend event. We also welcome members who wish to join for sections of the event but ask that you contact us at the email address below before registering. The Club charges £5 per person which covers the administration involved in planning and running the event which is undertaken by our willing Club volunteers.
