Join members on our European Driving Adventure this June and experience the height of European beauty: journey from the ‘Roof of Italy’ and the sparkling Italian Lakes to the dramatic mountain scenery and storybook villages of Switzerland.
Weather permitting, members will drive into Italy along the famous Stelvio Pass. With 60 hairpin bends, 48 of those being on the Northeastern side, this pass is the highest paved mountain road in Italy. As well as the Stelvio Pass, members will also have the opportunity to drive on some lesser-known but equally sublime mountain passes.
With a proposed stay at Lake Maggiore, members will have the option of visiting Isola Bella - a renowned, picturesque island and its wonderful gardens, or take the train to the northern side of the lake to the town of Locarno in southern Switzerland’s Ticino canton.
After leaving Italy, members will cross the border into Switzerland with a stay in Interlaken, nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, providing an opportunity to visit the iconic Jungfraujoch and the Matterhorn.
Further information, including approximate travel costs, will follow shortly; however, due to the popularity of our tours and the limited number of places available, it is advised that you register your place as soon as possible or contact Jennie below.
