Weymouth Fish and Chips

Event Registration

Weymouth Esplanade

Saturday, June 22, 2024

The annual Lotus Drivers Club Fish and Chip event started in 2012 with the first few in Hunstanton. The event has grown in popularity each year since – in 2017 visiting Llandudno for the first time and moving to Weymouth in the subsequent years from 2018. In 2024 on Saturday 22 June we will once again be visiting the immaculate Weymouth seafront, with beautiful golden sands and a pretty harbourside you certainly won’t be disappointed!

Alongside our visit, the Weymouth & Portland Armed Forces Day celebrations also start on Saturday when a display of historic military vehicles will gather at the Weymouth Pavilion forecourt and will remain on public display until they depart in convoy along the Weymouth Seafront to the Osprey Leisure Centre where an afternoon of 1940’s inspired entertainment, displays and exhibitions will take place.

Privileged display parking along the Weymouth Esplanade in front of the iconic Jubilee clock has been organised for members with special thanks to Weymouth Council and will be available from 9:30 am – 3 pm. Booking for this year’s Fish and Chips event is essential as places are limited to 60 cars. Places are available to members at £10 per car and can be booked using the link below. Marshals will be on hand during the morning to welcome and direct you to your parking place ensuring the safety of everyone along the Esplanade.

Of course, our Fish and Chip event wouldn’t be complete without experiencing some of Weymouth’s finest Fish and Chips, of which there are plenty to choose from, especially in the quaint Old Harbour, just a short walk from the Clock Tower. Whether you are local to Weymouth or will be travelling down for the weekend, our Fish and Chip Run is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day on the seafront with like-minded enthusiasts whilst sharing your passion for all things Lotus with passing holidaymakers.
