Join us for an exhilarating journey along France's esteemed Route Napoléon on our annual Driving Adventure, taking place from 1-15 June 2024.

Since 2009, the Club's cherished annual driving tours have been a hit, all thanks to the dedication of Jennie and Richard Wilson, our volunteer tour coordinators. From the scenic landscapes of Ireland in 2011, Angoulême in 2012 and the must-visit Le Mans Classic in 2016, our past adventures have been unforgettable. The stunning Scottish NC500 (2017), the picturesque Pyrenees (2018), and the Black Forest in Germany (2023) have all been remarkable highlights.

For our upcoming adventure, we're thrilled to explore the renowned Route Napoléon which covers approximately 325 kilometres, commencing from Golfe-Juan along the coastline, meandering its way up to Grenoble nestled in the French Alps.

After visiting the Millau Bridge we will travel across to Golfe-Juan to commence this iconic route which retraces the path Napoléon Bonaparte and his army took in 1815 from Elba to Grenoble after he escaped from exile. Beyond its historical significance, Route Napoléon boasts awe-inspiring landscapes and opportunities to visit charming towns and villages like Castellane, Barrême, Digne-les-Bains, Malijai, and the mediaeval town of Sisteron.

This two-week tour will feature a suggested route with UK crossings, customised itineraries, and carefully selected accommodation for an immersive adventure. For those new to our driving adventures, expect nothing short of fantastic roads, delightful cuisine, and, above all, great camaraderie.

The price based on 2 people sharing a double room with facilities, including a return ferry crossing, 14 nights accommodation in good class hotels with parking and 9 evening meals is approximately £2,512 per couple. Prices for single rooms are available on request and subject to availability.

To confirm your place and to help us administer numbers, please complete the registration information for the event. The event registration is for those wishing to join the tour.
