After quite a few months of fine weather for our Sunday Drive Outs, March proved to be seasonally inclement, with snow and ice cancelling our planned drive to Mottisfont Abbey. However, by mid morning on the Sunday, some of us became restless, so in true Wessex Area form, we decided to meet for lunch. A pleasant afternoon was spent in the Crown Hotel, chatting with friends. Let’s hope this is an end to the inclement weather, and many glorious driving days can be enjoyed from now on.
