Club Lotus have invited Lotus Drivers Club members to participate in their annual track day event at the Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire on Saturday 23 May. This is a great value track driving day which includes a minimum of 2 x 15 minute sessions. In practise, the track goes open pitlane around 2pm and 4-5 sessions are normally achievable for no extra cost. Please note the track sessions are run exclusively for Lotus cars only. If you don’t fancy track sessions, the paddock will be full of Lotus cars of all ages, 200 cars typically, and it is a great day out to meet up with friends, look at the cars and watch the track action. Full catering available. Paddock entry is free to all Lotus cars.

Each member may book a maximum of two double-session track packages. Each track package consists of a guaranteed minimum of two sessions of track time of approximately 15 minutes each. One of these will be in the morning and the other in the afternoon, although if the day runs smoothly we will invite those who have completed their morning session to take their second session before the lunch break. Packages may be shared between two drivers in the same car and a second package may be booked for a different driver in the same car.

This is not a competitive event although there are no speed restrictions on track. There must be no timing, racing or pace-making. A full track briefing will be given to all drivers and free instruction is available from approved Castle Combe ARDS qualified instructors – although you may be asked to make a donation to the charity of choice.

More information and the booking form will be available soon. For any enquiries please contact jane@clublotus.co.uk
