Supercar Fest

Supercar Fest

After the huge success of Supercar Fest in 2019 we are introducing our new event in 2021, Supercar Fest: The Runway. Join us on Sunday 30th May 2021 (bank holiday weekend) for an action packed day at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire, just 15 mins from J16 of the M1.

Our runway event will see the supercars go head to head. One will be released and then seconds later the ‘chaser’ will try and catch the lead car as they make a long right hand turn onto the 1km runway. Expect some high speed action as the owners show the crowds what their supercars can really do!

As well as the runway action there will of course be plenty more happening at the event; enjoy unrestricted access to the supercar paddock where you can get up close and personal with the supercars and meet their owners. There will also be exclusive motorsport demonstrations throughout the day.

Aside from the cars, you and the family can enjoy 2 nights of camping on site, listen to some live music from a selection of bands, grab something to eat from the food truck village, enjoy a drink at one of the onsite bars and visit one of our many trade stands.

Supercar Fest are delighted to invite LDC members to Supercar Fest the Runway in 2021. Reserved parking for your Lotus in the Club Display + 2 general entrance tickets. Lotus Cars will be in attendance with an official stand and they will be running two factory cars at both events. For more information and to reserve your place please visit the link below.

After the huge success of the inaugural Supercar Fest held at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in July 2019 we are finally returning for 2021! Join us on Sunday 29th August (bank holiday weekend) for another action packed day out for all the family in the Worcestershire countryside.

The one day festival will once again showcase the best modern day and classic supercars ever built. Enjoy unrestricted access to the Supercar Paddock where you can get up close and personal with some of the world’s most exotic machines ever made.

Watch the supercars blasting up the famous hill and get your ear plugs ready for some very exclusive supercar and motorsport demonstration runs.

Aside from the cars, you and the family can enjoy 2 nights of camping on site, listen to some live music from a selection of bands, grab something to eat from the food truck village, enjoy a drink at one of the onsite bars and visit one of our many trade stands.

Ragley Hall Classic Car Show

Ragley Hall Classic Car Show

Ragley Hall Classic Car Show

For over two decades the Ragley Hall Classic Car Show has been a proven favourite amongst the Club’s annual events. Come and join us on Sunday 30 May for another great day out. In the last few years the Club has hosted over 60 members cars on display, and once again we are hoping to beat this record!

The Motor Show is set in the 400 acres of parkland, woodland and gardens of Ragley Hall. Family home of the Marquess & Marchioness of Hertford for nine generations. Designed in 1680 by Robert Hooke, Ragley is one of the earliest of England’s great Palladian Houses.

The Motor Show will include some new features this year and is accompanied by up to 600 vintage and classic cars, American, kit & custom, motorcycles and commercial vehicles plus club stands, trade and autojumble stands. A team of judges will be in attendance to select the event concours winners with an award ceremony taking place in the arena at 4pm.

Live arena with parades during the day, ‘Pride of Ownership’ award. Daily Driver competition open to all plus the now famous ‘Decibel Duel’ where we find the loudest motor on display each day! There will also be live music both days with some great timeless classics, as well vintage rides for the little ones in the family – more details to follow.

Spend your bank holiday weekend at a fantastic venue with something for everyone, you won’t be disappointed.

Weymouth Fish and Chip Run

Weymouth Fish and Chip Run

Weymouth Fish and Chip Run

The annual Lotus Drivers Club Fish and Chip run was started 9 years ago in 2012 with the first few runs to Hunstanton. The event has grown in popularity each year since, in 2017 visiting Llandudno for the first time and Weymouth the following year in 2018. This year on Saturday 19 June we will once again be visiting the immaculate Weymouth seafront, voted the number 1 beach in the UK in the TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards for 2017 and also ranked 9th best beach in Europe. With beautiful golden sands, safe shallow waters, action packed events programme and pretty harbourside you certainly won’t be disappointed!

Alongside our visit, the Weymouth & Portland Armed Forces Day celebrations also start on Saturday when a display of historic military vehicles will gather at the Weymouth Pavilion forecourt and will remain on public display until they depart in convoy along the Weymouth Seafront to the Osprey Leisure Centre where an afternoon of 1940’s inspired entertainment, displays and exhibitions will take place.

Privileged display parking along the Weymouth Esplanade in front of the iconic Jubilee clock has been organised for members and will be available from 10am – 6pm. Booking for this years Fish and Chip run is essential as places are limited! Places are available to members at £10.00 per vehicle and can be booked using the link below. Marshalls will be on hand to direct you to your parking place. We ask that everyone adheres to a strict 5mph speed limit and to follow instructions from Club volunteers. There will be holiday makers with children and pets in close proximity so your cooperation is appreciated.

If you would like to contact us about this event or would like to volunteer on the day please get in touch by emailing driving@lotusdriversclub.org.uk

Event registration is charged per car.

Please be aware that due to current COVID-19 restrictions, places on this event are limited and, as is Club policy, taken on a first come first served basis. Once places are fulfilled, we will run a reserve list to offer places should they become available and restrictions allow. Please continue to watch our website for updates for this and all our events.
